- Fixed term, full-time role
- Will consider any location in NZ
- Start date of 1 July 2021
This is a full-time, fixed term position working with the
Clinicians Screening Group within the Population Health and
Prevention Directorate. The Ministry is offering a training
position for a Public Health Medicine Registrar to join the group
for a period up to a year.
The Clinicians Screening Group provides public health, clinical
and technical input into cancer and antenatal screening programmes
and sits alongside the National Screening Unit (the operational arm
of the screening programmes).
There are currently four Public Health Medicine Specialists in
the group so there is plenty of opportunity to work alongside a
number of colleagues.
There is much change afoot for the screening programmes and the
person in this training role will have the opportunity to work in
some challenging and interesting areas. There is an opportunity to
get some experience with applied epidemiology and analytics if this
is of interest.
Further information about the role, access to a position
description and to apply see here.
For more information, contact Jane
O'Hallahan quoting the position title.
Applications close at midnight on 30 April 2021.
