Hawke's Bay DHB are offering a registrar position within the
Health Improvement & Equity Directorate from July 2021. This
placement is between six to 12 months with a part-time option
HBDHB are looking for someone interested in working in a highly
innovative and experienced team focused on reducing inequalities
and engaging effectively with stakeholders and community. Two
public health physicians, in addition to the wider team, will be
available to train you in core aspects of public health practice
such as communicable disease control and environmental health. The
position will also provide opportunities to gain experience and
training in emerging areas of practice such as water resource
management, informatics, alcohol harm and reduction and mental
Hawke's Bay will provide both challenges and opportunities as
they focus on transforming our engagement with iwi and hapu in a
post treaty settlement environment. The work will be challenging
but you will be well-supported by a friendley service and DHB.
