Dunedin, New Zealand

Permanent, Full Time

From within the Southern DHB we work collaboratively with our partners to build healthy communities where we live, learn, work and play.

You will bring your experience and skills in building productive relationships with partners, understanding communities' needs, and developing teams and innovative population-based programmes. You will be part of a team of senior colleagues working across a public health service which is changing the way it delivers public health approaches across the Southern district. You will be able to balance a sound approach to responding to health protection issues and communicable disease control, with the ability to provide leadership to work on a broad range of issues that impact on health.

You'll have an interest in quality improvement and evaluation, and the ability to demonstrate the impact and outcomes of our work. You will also have the opportunity to work with colleagues across the South Island with the South Island Public Health Partnership.

You will already have, or be able to achieve vocational registration in public health medicine with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
